Caps! Caps not included. This toy gun was made in the 1970s. When you pull the trigger it sounds off with a very loud pop sound produced by the firing mechanism. I have not placed Caps in these for testing, it appears they do mechanically operate as they should. HOWEVER the ones I have left are missing the clips that hold the caps in place. I believe they can be operated without the clips. This toy is very well made, it's very heavy and realistic feeling and looking. I rate the guns condition at a 9+. These are old warehouse stock. No box. Gun measures 28 inches long.
